Rev. Dr. P. Paulraj SJ, born in 1971, is a Jesuit Priest, who holds a graduation in Economics from Loyola College, Chennai. His masters was also in Economics from the heritage college, St. Joseph's College Trichy in the year 2002. He has to credit a course on Personal Counselling from Mount St. Joseph, Bangalore.

His area of study for his PhD was "Employability of the graduates in higher education institutions with special reference to Jesuit colleges in Tamil Nadu".

Prior to joining St. Joseph's Institute of Management (JIM), Trichy as an Administrator he rendered his active service as a Tamil Nadu state advisor of AICUF (All India Catholic University Federation) where he worked to enable students develop critical awareness and helped students analyse the Indian and world situation, in order to cultivate a deep and genuine concern for the oppressed and marginalized and thereby effectively commit themselves to the task of building a new and a just society. He has been a vibrant participant in all the extension activities of the AICUF community and brought many reforms to foster the holistic development of student community. He is also assigned by the Jesuit Madurai Provincial as the Coordinator of Youth Commission for the past six years. He has organized various training programme on Leadership, Personality Management etc.

After taking up the position of Administrator here at JIM in the year 2018, Father Paulraj has been instrumental in bringing in drastic changes in the whole infrastructure of the JIM campus. Father has an eye of detail and has brought lots of progressive changes in the classroom setting, office environment, and the cafeteria ambience.

The lush green campus stands testimony for the commendable planning and execution of the able administrative team headed by Rev. Fr. Paulraj.

His academic interests being Economics, he handles the paper Managerial Economics for the first year students
